While I could write a very cliché summary about enjoying robust wine around a roaring fire, or long walks along a silver-strand beach in the twinkling moonlight, (both of which I enjoy by the way)but I would rather pose a question to the reader of this excerpt:

What do you want out of life?

I know it sounds like a simple question, but unless you know yourself at a deep enough level it often remains unanswered. It is a question that can cause both delight and anxiety at the same time because it inspires one to realize not only the infinite possibilities and complex decisions that lay in our path, but also enforces the reality that our time on this earth is finite. We only have time enough for so many choices. With each passing choice a new set of doors are opened but the old ones close.

What do you want out of life?

In years bygone I thought I knew the answer to this question. However, as I age and life changes around me, the less and less sure I am about my decisions. The longer I live the more certain I am only a few things really count: family, friends, and Ferrari. Kidding aside, I am of course referring to just people and relationshipsâ?¦ (although one does have to appreciate the sound of a 355 at full throat). What Iâ??ve come to realize is that life is all about the people around us and how we can positively affect their lives for good.

Based on my evolving understanding of the aboveâ?¦

One of my greatest strengths is empathy. I have the insatiable desire to understand people from their point of view and enjoy how the blending of their life experience can positivity influence life. I cherish deep friendships more than anything else in life and will often change the course of my life to assist others in need. Looking back over the last decade Iâ??ve seen the fruits of my labor blossom and I eagerly await the next 10 years!

Iâ??m sorry if all of this seems a bit atypical for a website of this caliber. I guess posting this here is just a reflection of the crossroads I am at in life; a tribute to randomness if you will. Iâ??ve systematically knocked out most of the clericals in life (self interest, friends, college, good job, first house, personal fitness, etcâ?¦) yet for some reason I still feel empty. I am thinking that maybe a change of pace in life is needed.

I have really great friends who love me, I'm down to earth, honest, caring, dependable, i love adventure, travel, outgoing. I'm at a place in my life where i am transitioning and know what i want.

From 9-5 I'm a mild mannered geek, but once I get home the adrenalin starts racing and I'm usually out doing something active. Must be a symptom of working in a cube all day. My favorite times are usually spent doing some sort of sport. Right now I'm doing a lot of snowboarding over at Buck Hill. I play tennis a couple times a week and just started taking some yoga classes over at Lifetime. I can't wait for this summer so I can start wakeboarding again. Like everybody else I have no idea what to write here. It's supposed to be funny, interesting but not too complete so that people will easily ask questions. However this ends up, I feel that well balanced really is the best way to describe myself. That or some people see me as a living contradiction. Certainly nowhere near perfect but I take pride in who I've become and what my life holds.

I pretty much have multiple answers for everything. This causes me problems when answering questions on this site because they are often missing details. Not that I'm not a good decision maker but life is just complicated and everything is so dependent on the circumstances.

I am very detail orientated and great at paying attention. However, this also means I'm looking for a multi-faceted women to share my life with. I am not all of your typical guy. I am a honest, sensibly guy that has a good sense of humor who smiles a lot with a strong personality. This may be a little random but here goes. I am a huge fan of Uncrustables. I like standup comedy. I'm probably one of the worst spellers you may meet. I like technology and new gadgets. I still can't figure out why my tv needs a light to say it's power saving. I have a nice group of friends with diverse backgrounds so I get a good mix of everything I need from them, although I'm always looking for more friends too. I'm a graphic designer that wants to be a dj. I like lots of electronic music as well as classic rock, new rock, alternative and even some classical. I enjoy being sarcastic and I make fun of the people I love. I like to joke around but I'm also serious when I need to be. I'm starting to think you may be annoyed by all of the sentenses that start with I or I'm. Here's one just to mix it up. Ok.. now that that is done. I'm wondering if you're ammused or even more annoyed. Moving on. I have an xbox but it doesn't run my life - I mainly use it for downloaded movies. I'm a Mac .. and a PC. I listen to Dane Cook in my car while driving along with some other comedians - sometimes its better than music. I'm not big into the bar scene; I'll go if my friends go but that's about it... and maybe if there's karaoke. I'm not a huge drinker but I still know how to have fun. I like live music and going to crappy little bars just to hear some good music. If you need to know anything else just ask.
